Ether
A passing glance from the distance
It regards our future antiquity
Sees no glories
Sees no tragedies
No consequence
Time contracts
As oars churn the ether
And pushes away ordinary
Set course for the grotesque
The malicious and the vile
The islands that dot our maps
Ours is the sea the connects them
But with a new dawn
The travelers fade
Absorbed into the ether
Travails dulled by winds of time
Eroded, erased
Fractures
Expatriates of artifice
Now residents of expiry
We dwell in dilapidation
Fractures from false foundation
Collapse or obfuscation?
The rain comes
For our ragged roof

To rot we’re aloof
Mirage in ruin
Recede
No constitution

No resolution
